Kombucha & Beer, Sittin’ In A Tree, K.I.S.S.I.N.G
Life is about balance. Which is why I occasionally enjoy a good craft beer or two. Being a bit of a wild child myself, I find it hard to take advice from those who have a zero tolerance policy on sugar, alcohol, the occasional donut, caffeine and such.
I hope to encourage others to embrace moderation with the things in life that can be medicine & poison, depending on the dosage. So if I recommend something with controversial ingredients, its all about moderation & savoring the goodness in the right amount. Now, about the beer. Earlier this year, I was introduced to sour beer and I immediately fell in love. I drink 8oz of kombucha nearly everyday. It’s an expensive habit, but the wonders it does for digestion & energy level are worth the price tag.
When I had my first sip of sour beer, it was like Kombucha & a delicious draft beer had a love child! If you don’t typically like beer, but love Kombucha try this! The bacteria used to ferment the beer gives it the sour taste and for me, its seems easier to digest than your typical bottled beer. Here’s a photo of my favorite Duchesse de Bourgogne.
